We are so pleased to have Joseph Galata bring his one man show Starlight! Starbright! to Our Center for 3 performances.
(Friday-Nov 18 12-2, Saturday November 19th 2pm & 6pm)
This performance and Q&A will appeal to men of all ages and people that love them as well as Therapists, Social Workers, Mental Health Professionals and anyone wanting to learn more about the men in their lives.
Any donations accepted for these performances will benefit the Homeless Youth Count in January.
Over 21 million American men and 1 out of every 6 males at a university are living with a shameful secret – they have been sexually abused as a child or teenager.
This 60 minute performance focuses on Muyoso who is auditioning for a reality TV show.
Along with displaying his creative talents such as dance, music, cooking, and drama, he is required to reveal to the judges a dark secret about himself – his sexual abuse from the age of 7 to 15, and the painful yet triumphant healing journey.
