Film Screening for World AIDS Day

This Thursday, December 1st, we will be showing two films on World AIDS Day starting at 8pm.

Let’s remember and honor those who we have lost as well as continue to fight the intersectional stigma – that surrounds AIDS – which inhibits people from getting care, prevents effective responses from health authorities, and enables discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation, race, class, etc.

Our Center’s very own, Zeina Barkawi, a board member and one of the producers of Matt Shepard Is a Friend of Mine, will be introducing the films.
