Anything but the Gym (ABG) is a free hybrid four-week program for women in Washoe County. It is designed specifically for beginners and aims to transition participants from a sedentary to an active lifestyle. The program achieves this by guiding them through a
home-based exercise program that introduces participants to the CDC-recommended 150 minutes of movement that can help prevent chronic illness. Additionally, participants benefit from three 30-minute health coaching sessions, educational newsletters, and practical guidance on healthy eating, including suggestions and recipes.
